Our Story

Shine People Solutions was founded by Tegan and Greg Sax in October 2009. Initially starting out recruiting in the Employment Services and Not for Profit sectors, we evolved to become the specialist Recruiter of Choice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professionals and white collar workers.

We are a family business that values genuine connection. We treat our team, candidates, and clients like family, not transactions. We operate on the principle of doing business the Indigenous way: relationships first, business second. We draw on the wisdom of how our people thrived for 60,000 years, prioritising collective wellbeing over individual gain. We bring this ethos to corporate Australia.

Dean Rotumah

Artist

Dean Rotumah is a talented Indigenous artist whose work celebrates the connection between land, culture, and creation. Greg & Tegan were instantly drawn to the "Minerals Creation" artwork; the colours; the vibrancy; the paterns; all of it struck a chord about the lands they are both drawn to.

We are proud to have licensed this meaningful piece, which reflects our commitment to supporting Indigenous artists and honouring the cultural significance of their work.

About "Minerals Creation"

This painting depicts the story of creation.

All the lines coming out of the centre are from Wallumbin (Mount Warning) which is our place of initiation.

All the different patterns throughout the painting represent male and female energy as neutral energy.

All the different colours represent the minerals that are in the earth which had washed up on the beaches and now the sands are white as all the minerals have been mined and taken away.

This painting is to give you an idea of what used to be here, in the Northern Rivers NSW.
